Admission Process and Minimum Qualifications

Admission Process for IIT JAM
- Research and Shortlist Programs: Explore programs offered by 22 IITs, IISc, NITs, and other institutes. Review seat availability (around 3000 seats for 2025-26), eligibility requirements, and program details.
- Entrance Exam Registration: Apply through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) from September 3 to October 11, 2024. Register with a valid email, mobile number, and personal details to receive an Enrolment ID and OTP. Submit one application for up to two test papers.
- Prepare for Entrance Exam: Study undergraduate-level syllabi for the chosen test papers (Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Physics). Use previous years’ papers and mock tests.
