About

The National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programs in hospitality and hotel management across India. It is managed by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, to promote coordinated growth and development of hospitality education.

Minimum Qualification to Fill This Form

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with English as a compulsory subject. Those appearing for their 10+2 exams can apply provisionally, provided they submit proof of passing at the time of counseling or admission. A physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner is also required at the time of admission.

Scope: Careers in hotels, resorts, event management, and tourism sectors with roles like hotel manager, front office executive, and food and beverage manager.

B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (Vegetarian)

What it is: A three-year undergraduate program tailored for vegetarian culinary practices, focusing on hospitality management and vegetarian food production.

Scope: Opportunities in hotels, restaurants, and catering services specializing in vegetarian cuisine, with roles like vegetarian chef, restaurant manager, and hospitality consultant.
