Xavier Aptitude Test 2025

XAT is a national-level management entrance exam conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on behalf of the Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI). It is held annually for admission to MBA/PGDM programs in XLRI, 11 XAMI member institutes, and over 250 B-schools across India.

The exam assesses skills in verbal ability, logical reasoning, decision-making, quantitative ability, data interpretation, and general knowledge. XAT 2025 was conducted on January 5, 2025, in computer-based test (CBT) mode.

The XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is not a private or government exam itself. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, a private institution, for admission to MBA and PGDM programs. However, the XAT is accepted by both private and government MBA colleges across India.

Minimum Educational Qualification

• Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree (minimum 3 years) in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Final-year students are eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree by June 10, 2025, and submit the degree certificate/mark sheet by the admission deadline.
• No minimum percentage is required for XAT eligibility, though some institutes may have specific criteria (e.g., 50% for general, 45% for reserved categories).
• NRI/foreign candidates can apply using valid GMAT scores instead of XAT.
• No age limit or restriction on the number of attempts.
